Every October the bluebirds stop by before presumably heading south for the winter (I've never seen them overwinter here). With cool wet weather in the forecast, I'm guessing this might be it for this year.

Picture day. Finally finished these throws, and even though they seem to take forever to weave, I am never disappointed by the finished product.

A beautiful morning for kayaking on the Mississippi River. It has been nearly four years since we moved to the beautiful Lanark Highlands and this is the first time we got out on the water, it is definitely not the last.

Although I didn't plant sunflowers this year, this rogue one popped up, presumably from last years seeds. The bees appear to be loving it.
